    About The Unsaved.”

November 18, 2022 Dear God, Good morning. The reading is about “What the Bible has to say about, The Unsaved.” When I read this verse, I immediately thought about my biological parents. My mother refused you and was not a believer. My father got sohba, and Denise, my older sista, told me that he was repentant for his sins, Jesus. I sure hope so. According to you, Jesus, it say’s, “Jesus said to his followers, “Go everywhere in the world and tell the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved, but anyone who does not believe will be punished.” Mark 16:15-16 I truly feel…

    Godshot in Recovery

October 22, 2022 Gary Lacy   Dear God, Thank you for the book “God’s Promises for every day” Standing in line at CVS, I looked up, and there was this book staring at me (the very same book Geri is using. Another godshot God?) Of course, I bought it and intended to give it to Geri because her copy was getting worn. When I gave it to her, she said, “You keep it. You need it more than I do.” So, here I am with Your book. Today I opened up to “God’s Faithfulness,” another God Shot? It is what I needed to hear. I have had doubts in the…

July 15, 2022 Good morning, Dear God. It’s my niece’s birthday, and I can’t believe she’s twenty—seven years old. Where did the time go? Happy birthday Yasmina (baby-gir). I was telling you about my introduction to the fellowship Jesus. My second meeting was at a lecture hall at Harvard University. As I entered the hall, I noticed only men were in the meeting. I saw that these men talked about their lovers. I thought they were compassionate and so loving regarding their wives. So I thought, Wow, men have feelings? Then they had a break during the meeting. Many were gay, and I didn’t know it was a men’s gay…

    Love and Grace from God

July 1, 2022 Good morning  Dear God. Yesterday wiped me out. ! I needed to report Romans’ primary doctor Tod to the Department of Human Rights Services. Tod is an unethical doctor. Thus. he won’t give Roman his Tryliptal, which stops the voices in Roman’s head, and his mind stops thinking that people will hurt him physically. I pray that Roman gets the best treatment possible. When Gary and I find out what hospital Roman’s in, we will visit him. He needs love, kindness, emotional support, and letting Roman know that we immensely love him. Today’s reading from my little Bible is about “Love.” I’m learning the Bible; it’s…

    Recovery and the Holy Spirit

June 1, 2022 Good morning, Dear God. We need to go food shopping. Then at eight-thirty, I read Terri my dear God’s letter, and we move to recovery issues about my resentments list. It seems that my resentment list is getting larger. My first resentment was against Santa Claus, and I also put him on my list. Today the Holy Spirit helps in my recovery. Today’s reading writes, “Jesus is your “Security” today in my life. I truly believe that you, Jesus, changed my soul to be graceful, loving, kind, speak the truth, and have love for everyone that’s touched my heart. And for those who drive eighty miles an…

    Emotionally Unstable

May 16, 2022   Dear God, good morning. Yesterday I felt emotionally unstable. Then, Maire, my neighbor, came up to see me, and I just cried on her shoulder. Marie is a very lovable, caring, and funny woman. And she said that when I feel better, we’re going power walking. She’s so tiny, and it’ll be fun walking with her. The reading from God’s promises for every day writes, “Jesus is your Lord” I doubted you, Jesus, yesterday because I was depressed, and I’m sorry. I was in so much pain. Gary secretly called Terri. He told her that I was struggling. Well, she hung up on him and called…

    God is the Answer

May 9, 2022     Dear God, good morning again. It is four in the morning. I went to sleep at eight. Yesterday, I saw Fernando, and we went to Macy’s to buy dress pants for him. I was sad because I only get to see him once a week. We talk every morning and talk before we go to bed. I need to tell him that this living arrangement needs to change. He now wants to buy a two-bedroom Condo. That’s perfect for me. Fernando wants me to look up condos. I’ll start looking for a real estate agent today. I miss my husband and him singing Opera…

    God and Healing

August 24, 2021 Dear Jesus, thank you for not leaving me alone with my difficulties, failures, and worries. Today’s reading was “Come to God, and God will come to you.” I’ve been searching for you for years, and I need to pray. Dear Jesus, please help my father-in-law, please help him while he recovers from open-heart surgery this Thursday. Please help him through the surgery to be with us for a while. We love him, I l love him. He’s too funny. He has two girlfriends. One is 61, Alisa, and a younger 55-year-old woman. He loves chasing those women around and laughing out loud, LOL. Please help him recover…

August 8, 2021,                                                                                                                                         5:15a.m. Dear God, good morning. I am still trying to wake up at 6: a.m. I’m going on Zoom for a meeting. I love the little book, “God’s promises for every day.” I love this book. It speaks of God’s peace that Jesus is peace, love, and forgiveness. God, please keep me close in your heart. Everything seems to hit me all at once. Today, please give me the strength to see Fernando. We’re looking at houses. Then I must get my vacuum cleaner and the key at Donna’s house. Hopefully, she can find both items. It may be painful to see her if she’s…
