    God to my Rescue

September 3, 2022 Dear God, good morning. Yesterday was an emotional day. I started reading my Dear God letter to Terri. Tears of sadness poured down my face like a waterfall. I know it is okay to cry. But the tears seem to have been locked up for years. I never cried as much as I do with Terri. Reading to Terri, my letters are mostly about my relationship with you, Jesus, and I’m learning just to be a child of God. I needed to write to you every morning. I look forward to writing to you, Jesus.  I’m working on my fourth step, which states in the Twelve and Twelve…

August 15, 2022 Dear God, good morning. Today we must go to court with Roman to get the necessary care from a day program. Roman will tell the judge the truth about pushing Gary, and I’m praying that the judge will order Roman to a day program. I must be an advocate for Roman because he’s going to be frightened in the courtroom. There are many people in the courtrooms, so he may have difficulty talking.       August 14, 2022 Dear God, good morning. Please, Jesus, help Gary, Roman, and myself. Poor Gary is so upset, and so am I. Roman refuses to tell the truth about what happened yesterday. Roman got increasingly aggressive with Gary. Gary was nice to let Roman use his phone so that Roman could call his father. Roman’s dad, Richard, hasn’t gotten Roman a phone yet. More adversity for sobriety. When Roman wanted to call his father, Gary said OKAY. But then, when Gary needed the phone back for the meeting, he said to Roman, “I need the phone at eight, and you can have the phone at nine.” Boom! Roman snapped…

    St.FrancisPrayer Fellowship

June 17, 2022   Good morning, God. Today’s reading is about you protecting those who come to you for help, or you Jesus go to them to comfort those in pain. In God’s Promises, it writes: “The Lord is good, giving protection in times of trouble. He knows who trusts in him.” Nahum 1-7 Last year I started to believe in you. It wasn’t always that way. I have been running my whole life. I ran from relationships or to them, and I ran the show. I had to be strong when I was sixteen, but I was amid my alcoholism then. I didn’t even think about you, Jesus. I…
