Coming of Christ
November 5, 2022
Dear God, good morning. In the book, God’s Promises writes about the “Coming of Christ.” No one knows when you are coming to us, Jesus, and I would love to know when you are coming. The book writes, “The Lord is not slow in doing what he promised- the way some people understand slowness. But God is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to be lost but wants people to change their hearts.
The Bible also writes about the day you come to us, Jesus. It writes, No one knows when that day or time will be, not the angels, in heaven. Only the Father knows. Heaven, not even the Son. Only the Fathers know.” Matthew 24:36-44
I know in my heart that I believe in you. Your presence blessed me over a year ago. That’s when I felt a warm sensation around my body, and I believe it was you hugging me that morning.
There was a time when I did not want any part of you. I believed you were a punishing God from the Old Testament. Even when you got me sohba six years ago. I struggled with believing in you, Jesus. I did believe in you, but I did not want any part of religion. I was spiritually dead in my soul, and my biological parents broke my heart. How could I believe in you back then? I have so many questions for you.
Wow, the Father in the heavenly world only knows when you’re coming to us, Jesus. Not even you know when you are coming to us. Jesus. You come down to show us that you are the true God in the world. I hope to see you that day!
You have poured your love into my soul, and my heart sings joyfully. I am grateful to you. Six years ago, I wrote notes in my Bible. One note states, ” Please come soon.” I was begging you for help, and you did. You helped me to get sohba. I am so grateful to you, and Jesus, you said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Fathers house; I would not say this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” John 14:1-4
That was so beautiful to read that Jesus will be there in a heavenly world. And, Jesus, you are going to prepare a place for me. With a history of being an atheist and a non-believer, I hope you forgive me, and I make it to the heavenly world. I did surrender to you, and you were there for me in my time of need.
You sheltered me from harm my whole life. I can see that today. The Bible also says, “After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:1 1-4
Jesus, I love the writing this morning. You will bring us to the heavenly world, and have a place in heaven with you, Jesus. As a sinner, I pray to you to wash away my sins and bring my life into harmony with you. I love you, sweet Jesus.
