Dear Jesus, thank you for not leaving me alone with my difficulties, failures, and worries. Today’s reading was “Come to God, and God will come to you.” I’ve been searching for you for years, and I need to pray.
Dear Jesus, please help my father-in-law, please help him while he recovers from open-heart surgery this Thursday. Please help him through the surgery to be with us for a while. We love him, I l love him. He’s too funny. He has two girlfriends. One is 61, Alisa, and a younger 55-year-old woman. He loves chasing those women around and laughing out loud, LOL. Please help him recover from the surgery. Poor Fernando is so worried about his father’s surgery. Please ease Fernando’s heart and his worries. He loves his father so much that there always play fake punches. It’s a joy watching them punch each other like boxers. Bronon, father was a Chicago boxer here in the states. Andrade was his name. So that’s why Bronon plays fights with Fernando every visit. I’ll keep praying for him. In your name, dear Jesus, please keep him with us. We love him dearly.
Please help me get through this day. God grant that I give love to my sisters and brothers. To accept the things that I cannot change. Courage to change what I can and the wisdom to know the difference Thy will not mine be done…I Love you, sweet Jesus.
