Hope and the Holy Spirit
September 16, 2022
Dear God, good morning. I am feeling better because my doctor increased my medicine. Thank you, Jesus, for my doctor. This morning was great, listening to Ter Bear (Terri) and Rae speaking in the meeting, and I feel blessed to have them in my life. They give me hope and life skills.
Susie called me this morning. We talked about the Holy Spirit and what it means. The third person of the Trinity in (in Christianity) Google definition. According to the Bible, it writes, “And this hope will never disappoint us because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given us. Romans 5:5
I strongly believe I’ve been touched by God’s love because my heart is full of the fruits of love, joy, peace, kindness, understanding, and discipline. Thank you, Jesus, for the fruit tree.
Susie told me the Holy Spirit is what I felt over two years ago. I was touched by the Holy Spirit” I now am trying to understand the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible, “I will ask the Father and will give another Helper to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. John 14:16-20 The Holy Spirit lives in us when we believe in Christ. According to the Bible, “those who believe in Jesus would receive the Spirit.” John 7: 38-39
The Holy Spirit I felt over a two-years- ago was through you, Jesus. Because that’s when I was in crisis mode, fearing everything, being stuck in depression, and I couldn’t get things done. God sent the Holy Spirit or a Helper through you, Jesus because God knew that I believed in you years ago. When I wrote in my Bible notes to you, God and Jesus, I knew that Jesus existed. And needed hope that you would help me.
According to the Bible, the Helper will be with you forever because God, who loves us, wants us to have the Holy Spirit who now lives in us. A sense of unexplainable joy. This is what I feel in my soul at this moment. Writing to you, Jesus, makes me very happy every morning. I make coffee. Then I write my heart out to you. I probably need to get baptized soon because it’s written in the Bible, “Peter said to them, “Change your hearts and lives and be baptized, each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Act 2:38
I need to get baptized, ask for forgiveness, and be touched by the Holy Spirit. I wonder what it would feel like after getting baptized. Will the Holy Spirit be there with me as I get baptized? To be continued…
