Dear God, good morning. Today’s reading from God’s Promises for every day writes about “Jesus is your friend.” You are my Father, and you are my salvation. You are my confidant, and you are my love. The Bible says, ” This is my command: Love others as I have loved you. The greatest love a person can show is to die for his friends. John 15:12-14
You died for my sins Lord, You died a terrible death, and it upsets me that you died on the cross. Ever since the movie Passion of Christ came out in theaters, I saw you suffer a horrible death. The movie was so graphic and detailed that my friend Vinny had to leave the theater. Mel Gibson directed the film. Watching the movie when you were being tortured angered me, and I felt a deep sadness in my heart for you, Jesus, after watching the whole film. The movie appeared so real that it shows our poor Blessed Mother having to wash her blood off the stones in the courtyard.
The movie had a significant impact on me. I hated the Romans for hurting you with their weapon. It disturbs me to watch the whole film. I never knew the entire story about you being arrested for being the “Messiah” (God) And how they hurt you.
Many people don’t believe that you are the Messiah, sweet Jesus. Like the Bible says, Your coming down from the heavens with fire in your eyes. According to Corinthians. Jesus, when you come down from the heavenly world to destroy the evil one, I pray that I may witness you on that day. You promised a new world. Thank you for the fruits of your love, peace, faith, joy, kindness, goodness, and discipline.
I love you, Jesus, for saving me from dying from alcoholism. I love you for showing me unconditional love.
I love you for loving me when I still struggle with my self-esteem.
I love you for always protecting me from any harm.
I love you for Fernando.
I love you because you are a gentle sheep.
I love you for getting me sohba, and you keep me sohba.
I love you for the friends I have Jeanne, Karen, Gary, Roman, Terri, and the 319 friends.
I love you for coming to me when I was in despair.
I love you for rescuing me from my parents.
I love you for loving me the way I am.
I love you for showing me the fruits of your love for me and others.
I simply love you so much that I won’t bow down when I see you. I want a massive hug from you, and then I’ll bow down. I was laughing out loud.
I love you for keeping me safe, warm, and happy.
The Bible says, ” Come near to God, and God will come near to you.” James 4:8
I am always with you every morning, and I always feel joy in my heart when I write to you, sweet Jesus. I begged you for help, and you came to me as I was crying. And, I felt a warm feeling around my body, and I truly believe I was touched by your arms, that you were holding me until I stopped crying over a year ago.
Since that incredible experience, I don’t think people will believe me. But what matters is that I believe in you, Jesus, and I will love you for eternity. Love you more, LOL
