Dear God, good morning. Today’s reading is about peace. I wish I had more peace in my life. I have peace most of the time, except poor Roman has schizophrenia and is unaware of boundaries. He’ll be talking to you, and then he can’t stop talking negatively. Roman can’t control himself. I love Roman like a brother, but he’s up my ass and Gary’s.
My little brown book states, “God has given us a son. He will be responsible for leading his people. His name will be Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace. Power and peace will be his Kingdom and will continue to grow forever will make it strong by ruling with justice and goodness from now on and forever. The Lord All-Powerful will do this because of his strong love for his people.” Isaiah 9:6-7
I never really had peace except, for now, peace flows through me, Jesus. I can feel it this morning. “Prince of Peace” Peace means freedom from disturbance, tranquility, mental calm, and serenity. Working on peace, I breathe, pause, then respond to the situation calmly if I can. I’m not perfect, but I try to be peaceful and feel peace in my heart and soul when I’m writing to you, Jesus. I do believe that you’re the King of all of your people. I feel blessed with love from you, sweet Jesus. I have to get ready to see Fernando take a shower. Then we’ll have a picnic.
